Every Christmas Day, BBC releases a beautiful short animation film. So, for the 25th of December on 2019 Magic Light Pictures created a gorgeous animation, based on the much-loved book written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler, “The Snail and the Whale” (you can watch it on this link).
In Fugitive Studios they had already collaborated with them in other titles, so they called us again for that year and I was in charge of creating the Opening and End Credits: from the font to the animation.
Despite of being fade-in/fade-out animation, there are some elements to take into account, such as spacing, positioning, size, etc.
This was a lovely project to work on and I really enjoyed the soundtrack.
